On this episode I talk about time. You’re always looking for the perfect time, right time to do things, new job, new health regime, baby, and relationship but sometimes, there is no right time. When it comes to getting something done, you always want to begin with the end in mind. If you focus on the some day you are never going to focus on today. Today, we’re going to talk about today.
Let’s be honest with each other there is never a right time to do anything. Sometimes it’s just a matter of figuring it out and just doing. . A person you should consider that helped me organize myself was Steven Covey. One tip he has is to begin with the end in mind. A lot of us have an end, but that this can also be a sticking point because of things like “when this happens then X will happen”. You spend so much time waiting for X to happen that you don’t really think about solving for Y. It goes back to high school algebra, when there is an X and a Y, you have to solve both for the equation to fit.
As women, we put so much pressure on ourselves. We put pressure on ourselves to be the best wife, the best employee, the best mom, to be the best at anything we do. We need to learn to balance our lives out and take the pressure off ourselves so that we’re equal. Sometimes you have to take from the left and give to the right, and sometimes you have to take from the right and give to the left.
